India, 1st June: Lenovo today announced that one of the bestselling smartphone of Lenovo, the K4 Note has started to receive the Android Marshmallow 6.0 update through OTA update. The update will bring an array of new features and support including revamped app permissions, Google Now on Tap, Doze, adoptable storage etc.
Lenovo, in association with Amazon also announced that a total of 600,000 units of the K4 Note & 150,000 units of the popular ANT VR headsets have been sold so far. The K4 Note is the first device ever to have the TheaterMax technology that can create an immersive large screen experience boasting smooth graphics, lifelike surround sound and responsive 3D. Lenovo has been consistent in pushing latest Android updates for its smartphones and so far has rolled out Android M for K3 Note, A7000, P1, S1 and X3, and the K4 Note becomes the 6th smartphone to get the latest update.
