The Greater Kota Press Club Patron Board and Executive Meeting was held at Rotary Binani Auditorium in Cantonment. Various issues were discussed in the meeting.

Efforts will be intensified to draw the lottery of Nagar Vikas Nyas’ proposed Chandresal housing scheme for journalists soon. The club will meet the Chief Minister of Rajasthan Government, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and other officials for the implementation of this scheme. For this, a delegation of journalists will soon go to Jaipur and meet the Chief Minister. Greater Kota Press Club President Sunil Mathur said that many important decisions were also taken in the executive meeting, along with this, membership renewal, membership campaign, general meeting and many schemes in the interest of journalists were discussed. He said that membership renewal will start from August 10. Regular meetings of the club will also be held every month in which follow-up of major issues will be done and efforts will be made to implement them after discussion. Greater Kota Press Club General Secretary Anil Bhardwaj said that the city office will be developed as a media center. After the meeting, the birthday of Greater Kota Press Club Treasurer Badri Prasad Gautam was also celebrated and he was wished well. On this occasion, tribute was paid to senior journalists Late Naresh Vijay Vargiya, Arjun Dev Chaddha, Jai Narayan Saxena by observing two minutes of silence on their demise.

The meeting was chaired by Press Club President Sunil Mathur. Senior Vice President Hemant Sharma, Vice President Hari Mohan Sharma, Joint Secretary Chandra Prakash Sharma, Treasurer Badri Prasad Gautam, Executive Members Rubina Qazi, Manish Gautam, Lekhraj Sharma, Hanspal Yadav, Patron KL Jain, Subodh Jain, Pawan Ahuja, Shyam Rohida, Pradyuman Sharma, Dheeraj Gupta and others were present in the meeting.
